The computer gaming industry is now producing the world's preeminent forms of entertainment, content, storytelling, and cinematic experiences. And it's only going to get better from here! What's incredibly interesting to us at Retread Gaming Company (RGC) is how the industry is racing ahead in technical capability and innovations, but leaving huge amounts of fantastic potential in previous titles unexplored. This isn’t just lost opportunity to create great games, it’s big money left on the table. Of course, this is the nature of a tech-based industry and fast-moving cultural phenomenon, and the modding community has always filled many of these gaps as part of an exciting and truly passionate community collaboration. 

At RGC, we want to help explore, accelerate, and celebrate the full potential of previously released gaming titles and content. The notion of "retread" is about taking what's been previously created, and supporting it, improving it, reenvisioning it, or even totally recreating it. At RGC, we’re financial investors, raising funds to lead or support projects, as well as buying or franchising the rights to games. We're modders ourselves, too, producing content on various platforms. And, of course, in the best tradition of the modding community, we also want to do everything we can to support the work of like-minded programmers, creators, and artists.
